Well I had really good parking spot for May 13, I was in between the towns of Lamont and Tonkawa Oklahoma. I got to view a strong tornado, and there was no chaos around me. I was expecting storm chasers to come from everywhere when I got on this tornado. I saw plenty of chasers on my previous storm, but they chose to hang with that one while I went after a supercell that was taking a dive to the southeast. It paid off, I got to view this tornado without all the chaos going on. My best experiences seem to be when I'm by myself. Not that I have anything against the other chasers. There's just something about being by yourself when the weather is putting on a show. Warren, I know you have had to have this experience also. I hope next year can be a bit more active. This was my second year at doing this, and I've seen 9 tornadoes so far. 7 last year, and only 2 this year. For a while I was doubting myself this year, but I didn't feel so bad when I heard Vortex 2 was struggling to get their first tornado. I was glad to hear they got the one in Wyoming, because time was running out. Good job on their part.

Hello Warren.
Be chance were you at the 2009 Dayton Ohio Hamvention? I thought I saw you there on the last day in the arena but I didn't get a chance to say hello to wish you well on the 2009 chase season.
